Rooted in Complexity. Guided by Clarity.

I grew up speaking Chinese with my dad, Vietnamese with my mom, and English with my siblings and at school. From a young age, I learned to move between cultures, languages, and perspectives—an experience that has shaped how I build relationships and navigate complexity in every area of life.

With over 20 years of experience as a coach, strategic business partner, facilitator, and change agent in corporate and nonprofit settings, I’ve learned how to stay grounded—even amid chaos. My multicultural lens and ease with complexity allow me to help others pause, reflect, and see their lives and leadership in new ways.

Whether you’re looking to:

  • Be seen and heard more fully
  • Strengthen your relationships—starting with yourself
  • Lead with courage and create meaningful impact

…I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you become more of who you’re meant to be.

“No leader sets out to be a leader. People set out to live their lives, expressing themselves fully. When that expression is of value, they become leaders. So the point is not to become a leader. The point is to become yourself, to use yourself completely – all of your skills, gifts, and energies – in order to make your vision manifest.”

My Coaching Journey

In my earlier career, I thrived as a high performer, known throughout the organization for delivering exceptional results. My management recognized my potential and provided opportunities that expanded my leadership capacities. However, a pivotal moment came when I took on a new role in a different division—it seemed like a dream position at first.

Yet, I quickly realized that the skills and approaches that had propelled me to success in the past needed to be refined in this complex and psychologically challenging environment. I felt stuck and unhappy, prompting me to explore other opportunities, a strategy that had worked before. But this time, it became evident that my current approach wasn’t sustainable. Deep down, I felt a pull towards a different path.

I had long been interested in coaching, but it required me to challenge my preconceived notions of what coaching truly entailed. Despite setbacks—like canceling my initial classes due to the pandemic—I persevered. By mid-2020, I had embarked on my coaching journey via Zoom, and it was transformative from the very first session.

Amidst organizational changes during the pandemic, an opportunity arose: a position within my division became available. Despite my managerial background, I questioned whether returning to a formal management role aligned with my newfound passion for coaching. During the interview, I candidly expressed my reservations, advocating instead to lead through a coaching lens to enhance team morale and effectiveness. It was a bold move that underscored my commitment to authentic leadership.

Although I didn’t secure the new role, I had no regret; it became clear that the universe was nudging me toward a different form of leadership. Coaching validated my belief that leadership transcends titles and supports and empowers others to thrive. As Warren Bennis famously said, “Becoming a leader is synonymous with becoming yourself.”

A year later, organizational restructuring eliminated several management layers, presenting a turning point. My coaching certification positioned me uniquely to step into an internal coaching role within the restructured organization. This shift aligned with my journey and strategically supported the company’s focus on employee development and resilience amidst change.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned that genuine leadership isn’t just about hitting targets—it’s about unlocking the potential in people and teams. As a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), I bring experience in leadership, people development, and team excellence. I specialize in guiding professionals through complex challenges, enhancing leadership capacity, navigating organizational change, or fostering resilient, high-performing teams.

My coaching philosophy emphasizes sustainable growth, strategic insight, and empowering you to achieve transformative results. Let’s collaborate to elevate your leadership and create a lasting impact.

Founding Member, Coaching for Everyone

Coaching has played a pivotal role in my growth—and I believe it should be accessible to everyone, not just those with privilege or financial means. Yet, transformational coaching remains out of reach for many, especially in under-resourced communities.

Coaching is more than my profession—it’s my calling. I sincerely believe in its power to help people thrive personally and professionally. As an executive and integral coach, I’m aware of the advantages I’ve had, and I feel a strong responsibility to use my access and experience in service of others.

That’s why I volunteer my time as a coach and became a Founding Member of Coaching for Everyone, a nonprofit committed to making high-quality coaching and leadership development available to BIPOC young adults, K–12 educators, and nonprofit professionals.

I believe coaching can be a powerful lever for equity and systemic change—and I’m proud to support efforts that open more doors for more people.
